IEC/ISO-9001:2015-Quality Management System
Sogelec obtained its IEC/ISO-9001:2015 in March 2014, in recognition of its service excellence and consistency, compliance with world-class quality assurance and control standards, and rigorous efforts to improve its offering since it was established. The ISO-9001 family of standards is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
IEC/ISO-14001:2015-Environment Management System
ISO 14001:2015 stipulates standards for environmentally friendly and eco-conscious management systems. Sogelec was awarded the IEC/ISO-14001:2015 certification in February 2017 as a result of its continuous improvement of its environmental performance both across its projects and operations.
IEC/ISO-45001:2018-Occupational Health & Safety Management system
ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for occupational health and safety (OH&S) management systems, enabling organizations to foster safe and healthy workplace environments, prevent work-related injuries and health hazards, and continuously improve their outcomes in this area. Sogelec obtained the ISO 45001:2018 certification in July 2020.
KAHRAMAA Certificate # 1197=Low Voltage Electrical Contractor Licensing Certificate
Sogelec is a licensed low voltage electrical contractor for KAHRAMAA, the sole transmission and distribution system owner and operator (TDSOO) for the electricity and water sector in Qatar. The KAHRAMAA certification has further cemented Sogelec’s position as a leading MEP partner for Qatar’s national infrastructure projects.
2020 Civil Defence Affidavit
In February 2022, Sogelec was authorized a number of activities through an affidavit from the Qatar Civil Defence. It covers the trading, installation, and maintenance of firefighting, alarm and safety devices and equipment.

In October 2019, Sogelec earned a certification by the Qatar Civil Defense for the setup and management of fire prevention and fighting systems in commercial developments.
ASHGHAL Certificate as Approved Subcontractor For Street Lightning
As the Public Works Authority of Qatar, ASHGHAL is a leading body for the regulation and quality assurance of contractors involved in some of the nation’s largest infrastructural developments. Following a rigorous testing and assessment process, Sogelec was certified as an ASHGHAL approved sub-contractor for street lighting in February 2020.

Ministry of Finance certify the Sogelec Iskan for the 4 kinds of work under different permit number one is 18001230-SRV-005 for 456010 to conduct plumbing works (pipe fittings), water and sewer pipe extensions and installation, as well sanitary ware installation and repair works. Second 18001231-SRV-005 for 457060 work to undertake electrical works (electrical equipment), including wire extensions, connections, and repairs. Third is 18001232-SRV-003 for 477065 work to conduct electrical cable extension works. And lastly 18001233-SRV-003 for 2000882 work to conduct electromechanical equipment installation and maintenance works.
